THE  I INTERNATIONAL ART-OBJECTS SYMPOSIUM  - RUSSIA

The First International  ART-objects Symposium for exterior or interior  will take place in a town of Russia, from the 10 of September to the 24 th  of September 2010.
The symposium provides for the artists:
- Accomodation and meals
- Materials for realizing ART-objects: white and color marble;  wood (oak logs);  different kinds of metal (steel or stainless steel sheets, tubes, angles and other profiles); glass, fiberglass, beaten ceramic tiles various colors, concrete, bricks, wire, papier-mache, paints and other materials according selected project, but coordinated with organizing committee of Symposium.
- The individual allowance 300 Euro (three hundreds euros) at the end of the Symposium by cash for every artists for finished ART-objects
- The equipment of aworkplace with all basic equipment, (electricity, compressed air, a place for storage of tools and changing clothes),
- Angle-grinders (230 mm)  for artists, who will need it, welding equipments,
- Transport from the airports
- Exhibition of small ART-objects  during Symposium at the Museum
- Publishing of  the catalogue of the Symposium,
- Information about events of the Symposium in mass media of Russia (newspapers, TV, magazines, radio)
The artist undertakes:
- To create a sculpture not later than the closing date of the Symposium (24 th  of September 2010) according to his/her selected projects
- To have own electric, air and hand tools and personal means of protection
- To have own insurance for all duration of  Symposium. There is no special theme.
20 artists will be selected for the participation.

ART BIENNAL - ITALY
Deadline: June 1st 2010
The II edition of this Biennial exhibition organized by an Italian town, is devoted to the theme of the water. The Artists are invited  to plan and to realize a container of water as object of art with the noble function to preserve and to guard the ”blue gold”. The innovation and the originality is required in the form and in the used technique. The dimensions of the works don't have to be inferior to 30x30x30 cm, while for the installations, realized on the site, the dimensions can vary ( to be arranged with the organization). The Contest is divided in three sections:
- First Section "Young Emergent Artists": devoted to all the Italian artists and foreigners, of age between the 18 and the 35 years. Also groups are admitted;
- Second Section "Competition for the Schools": devoted to the Secondary Schools of first degree and the High schools;
- Third Section "The art doesn't have age": devoted to all the Italian and foreigner artists and estimators of the art, without distinction of age. Groups are also admitted;
20 works will be selected and exhibited in various centers of the province of Modena and Bologna, with publication of a catalogue and promotion of the winning works through a web site.
First prize for the first section: Euro 1.000,00

PHOTO COMPETITION – BRUSSELS
Deadline: 30 of June 2010
This photo competition is looking to expose the visions of young women of the world they live in.
The subject is ‘My world: Visions of 21st Century Feminism’. Images may be digitally enhanced and manipulated. They may contain text.
To submit an entry into this Competition, you must be:
- Female (defined as all those who identify themselves as such)
- Aged between 15 and 40
- Resident in an EU Member State or Candidate country (Croatia, FYROM, Turkey).
Maximum 3 entries are permitted per person.
A panel of judges will select 20 final entries to be displayed in a high-profile exhibition to be held opened on 15 October 2010 in Brussels.
The exhibition of winning entries may be displayed in various locations across Europe in 2010-2011.
The 20 finalist entries will be published in a full-colour brochure which will be widely disseminated among European, national and international policy-makers and partners.

ARTISTIC COMPETITION ON PINOCCHIO - ITALY
Deadline: August 01 2010
An Association and a restaurant in Italy, organize an artistic contest with he title "my Pinocchio". The contest is open to everybody.
The works have to represent in figurative, abstract or creative form with free technique, the famous wood puppet and all the characters of the book, like Geppetto, the Fairy, The Speaking Cricket etc. The techniques to be used are free (drawing, painting, plastic arts, photo, graphic elaborations, illustration, comic strips, frescos, poetry, masks, puppets, etc..).
Every competitor can introduce a free number of works .
A local jury will select the best 10 projects.
PRIZES:
1° Classified: Euro 5.000
2° Classified: Euro 3.000
3° Classified: Euro 1.500
4° Classified: Trip of 1 week, in place to be determined in Italy or foreign countries. Lunch at the Restaurant
of Collodi (max. 4 people).
From 5° to 10° Classified: Ticket for a free visit to the park of Collodi, ticket of entry to the Historical Monumental Garden. Lunch at the Restaurant of Collodi (max. 4 people).

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF IMAGE – PORTUGAL
Deadline: 14th of May 2010
A municipality in Portugal, created an International Image Festival.
All the genres, styles and concepts of Photography and still Digital Art any other type of non-animated artistic digital image shall be accepted, regardless of the techniques used in creating them;
Any author who registers at the web site can enter, and all authors are subject to these rules, regardless of their nationality; There are no set topics (open topics);
Each contestant may take part with only one work; After the finalists’ works are thus determined, they shall be put on display on 31 May, in the gallery on the web site.
From 1 to 7 June, the Final Panel shall vote for the top five works to be selected from among the 50 finalists;
The winners’ names shall be announced on the site, on 9 June;
The 50 finalists’ works shall be reproduced on paper, in 30 X 40-cm (11,81 X 15,74-inch) format, and shall comprise that exhibit to be held outdoors, in the main square of the municipality, from 8 July to 31 August;
From among these same top 50 works, organizers shall select the works to be enlarged to bigger formats and shall put them on display in the squares and streets of the city of  municipality from 8 July to 31 August; The top five works, as selected by the panel, shall be awarded the following prizes:
1st prize – 5.000,00 euro;
2nd prize – 2,500.00 euro;
3rd prize – 1,000.00 euro;
4th prize – 750.00 euro;
5th prize – 500.00 euro;
